The lipid blood test is used to measure the level of Lipids in the blood. It includes Triglyceride level, VLDL, LDL, HDL, and cholesterol. Only high levels of HDL are good for our health. All other lipids are hazardous for our body. The more the level of Bad Lipids, the more are the chances of atherosclerosis and death owing to it. An individual needs to have a High level of HDL because it prevents such cardio and cerebrovascular accidents. Not only old but all the age group people should have a regular check on their lipids.

How to Interpret the results
  • Cholesterol level is normal between 180-220mg/dl
  • Triglyceride level is normal below 150mg/dl
  • LDL level is normal below 100mg/dl
  • HDL is normal if above 60mg/dl
